Asian Championships: Winners announced in 8 weight categories among seniors

On August 3, 2025, the second day of competitions at the Asian Championships for Seniors, Juniors, and Cadets in Kurash took place at the Culture and Sports Center in Geosan, South Korea. The strongest Kurash athletes in the senior category competed for victory in 8 weight classes.

Today, after intense competition and fierce battles, the new Asian champions among seniors were determined. The results are as follows:

– 66 kg — Sarvar Abdushukurov (Tajikistan)

In terms of medal count, the Uzbek delegation achieved the highest results in today’s competitions—4 gold and 2 bronze medals. Additionally, countries such as Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Vietnam, and South Korea also secured 1 gold medal each. This demonstrates the balanced and highly competitive nature of the championship.
