Today, on January 27th, 2026, International Forum on “Strengthening Global Anti-Doping Governance: Harmonization, Compliance, and Regional Cooperation” has been held in the Olympic City in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The Forum started with the official opening ceremony of the New Office of the National Anti-Doping Agency of Uzbekistan, followed by the official speeches of Adkham Ikramov, Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Witold Bańka, President of the WADA, where IKA representatives, including Mohammad Reza Nassiri, IKA General Secretary, Muslima Mirzaakbarova, Coordinator on Anti-Doping affairs, Farid Mirzaakbarov, Head of the International Relations Department, also took part.
In the practical part of the forum, Yaya Yamomoto, Director of the WADA Asia/Oceania Office, Abdushukur Sadikov, UzNADA Director, as well as, other top specialists from Italy, Germany, Poland, Lithuania in the field of anti-doping made lectures on very actual, important and practical aspects.
At the end of the forum, the certificates of completion of forum were presented to the participants and attendees, in turn, gained the significant knowledge and experience in anti-doping sphere.
