Today, the opening ceremony of the 3-month online course on Kurash coaching, newly introduced by the International Kurash Institute, took place in the meeting hall of the Uzbekistan State University of Physical Education and Sports.
The presentation of this course was shown in 2023, at the meeting of the IKA Directing Committee held within the framework of the 14 World Senior Kurash Championship held in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, and started in January of this year.
The practical training of the course and exams for the license are being organized on April 22-26 in the Sagbon Kurash Complex in Tashkent and in the halls of the Department of Theory and Methodology of National Kurash Types of the State University of Physical Education and Sports of Uzbekistan.
At the opening ceremony, the Deputy Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shakhrullo Makhmudov, the General Secretary of the International Kurash Association Mohammad Reza Nassiri, the Rector of the State University of Physical Education and Sports of Uzbekistan Rashid Matkarimov, the Rector of the International Kurash Institute Khabibulla Tajiev, the head of the IKA Administration Mansur Mirzaev, the first deputy chairman of the Uzbekistan Kurash Federation Bakhtior Kadyrov and professors, Kurash specialists, responsible employees, more than 30 course participants from 15 different countries, as well as university students and national media took part.
Needless to say, the system of training in this format, introduced for the first time by the International Kurash Institute, was approached with high international standards In particular, the most experienced foreign and Uzbek Kurash experts were selected for the online platform, a series of subjects important for the effective activity of the course participants in the field of Kurash coaching and achieving high results in the future was collected, and the sequence of taught topics and textbooks was compiled based on modern trends.
Those who spoke at the event acknowledged that Kurash is a noble sport, and that Kurash coaches are important in its development.
He wished the seminar participants success in gaining new experiences, new knowledge and new opportunities.
The subjects included are: sport medicine, sport psychology and physiology, history of Kurash, theory of Kurash, philosophy and ethics of Kurash, classification of Kurash techniques, rules of organizing Kurash competitions, such as Kurash Techniques, Kurash Coaching, Kurash Referee Rules, Modern Kurash Training Methods are included.
After the opening ceremony, the training of the first day of the seminar began.
Practical knowledge and skills in Kurash refereeing and coaching are organized by experienced Kurash experts.
