The VI Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, which was suppose to be hosted by Thailand in 2021, was initially postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic, and then due to the important qualifying period of the summer Asian and Olympic Games. The Olympic Council of Asia and the organizing committee of the competition have confirmed the final date of the competition. It will be hosted by Bangkok and Chonburi.
Accordance to this, the Asian Indoor Martial Arts Games will take place on November 21-30, 2024.
More than 30 types of sports will participate at the upcoming AIMG in November. Kurash has also been officially included in the program of the games, and 10 weight categories in men and women will compete for medals.
Moreover, Teqball and Drone racing sports will be present as demonstration sport during the games.
