Nowruz is one of the most ancient holidays of the Eastern people. Nowruz is usually considered a religious holiday. In fact, Nowruz does not belong to any religion, it has been confirmed many times by scholars.
Since ancient times, Nowruz was celebrated every year when spring arrived, and when farming in the fields, gardens and livestock started.
Nowruz has been recognized as the New Year for many centuries. The Spring air brings freshness and warmth to our hearts. Ancient customs and national traditions of the peoples of the East, especially of Central Asia, are revived and given a new look in holiday performances with a centuries-old history. Nowruz did not pass without kurash competitions. The strongest Kurash players took part in Nowruz Kurash. They tested their strength. That is why Nowruz and Kurash have always been valued together.
The International Kurash Association sincerely congratulates all kurash fans, national federations, and members of the World Kurash family with Nowruz, an ancient holiday of the East.
