The International Kurash Association (IKA) informs that its President, Mr Haider Farman, has officially submitted his resignation from the position of IKA President due to family commitments and related business obligations.
In his letter addressed to the IKA Directing Committee, Mr. Farman expressed his sincere gratitude to all members of the IKA family for their trust, support, and cooperation throughout his tenure. He highlighted the collective efforts made in promoting and developing the sport of Kurash around the world and described his service as President as a great honor and privilege.
In accordance with the IKA Statutes, the IKA First Vice President, Mr Ziyoviddin Khodjiniyazov, assumes the role of Acting IKA President for the remainder of the term until the next General Assembly, where the membership may determine the future leadership of the Association.
The International Kurash Association extends its appreciation to Mr. Farman for his dedication, leadership, and valuable contributions to the growth and international development of Kurash. Under his leadership, the Association continued its efforts to strengthen the sport’s global presence and promote its values across the international sporting community.
