The General Secretary of the International Military Sports Council (CISM), Navy Captain Roberto Recchia, sent an official letter to the Acting President of the International Kurash Association, Ziyoviddin Khodjiniyazov, and IKA General Secretary Mohammad Reza Nassiri, in which he particularly commended the high standard of organization of the First World Military Kurash Challenge held in Tashkent.

The CISM leadership highly appreciated the professional approach demonstrated by IKA during the preparation and conduct of the competition, strict compliance with technical requirements, effective coordination of the refereeing process, as well as constructive cooperation between the organizations.

The successful staging of the first CISM World Military Kurash Challenge in Tashkent marked an important achievement in strengthening the position of Kurash within the international military sports movement. At the same time, the competition once again demonstrated the practical effectiveness of cooperation between CISM and IKA.

The CISM leadership noted that the experience gained in Tashkent would serve as an important foundation for further promoting Kurash among military personnel and implementing new joint initiatives in the future.

This recognition is one of the important results of IKA’s efforts to develop cooperation with CISM, further promote Kurash within the international military sports system, and launch new competition formats.
