An international refereeing seminar and sports competition on Kurash will be held as part of the prestigious traditional intercultural festival “Kurultay” to be held in Constanta, Romania, on September 5-6. The event is organised in cooperation with the International Kurash Institute, the European Kurash Confederation, and the Romanian Kurash Federation.
This seminar is dedicated to World Kurash Day and is aimed at improving the skills of coaches and referees on the continent. According to Khabibulla Tadjiev, Rector of the International Kurash Institute: “- Such master classes serve as an important platform for experts from European countries to exchange knowledge and experience. At the same time, they contribute to the popularisation and further growth of the influence of Kurash in Europe.”
The seminar will be conducted by Kim Eurjoong, Head of the Training Department of the International Kurash Institute, an international referee, and Khikmat Kurtov, Chairman of the Referees’ Board of the Uzbekistan Kurash Federation.
