November 23 is the official day of the World Senior Kurash Championship.
These days a lot of preparatory work for the World Championship is being carried out.
It is expected that more than 400 representatives from about 70 national kurash federations of the IKA will take part in this World Championship.
According to the rating system of the International Kurash Association, the gold medalist of the World Championship receives 2000 points, the silver medalist 1400 points, the bronze medalist 1000 points.
IKA Statistical Committee also plans to announce updated ranking points after the World Championship.
Mukhsin Khisomiddinov from Uzbekistan, who holds the first place in the +100 kg weight category in the World Kurash Ranking, will try his luck again in Pune.
Mukhsin Khisomiddinov is a 3-time World Champion (2015, 2017, 2019), 3rd place in the World Championship (2013), Asian Champion (2018), winner of the Summer Asian Games (2018), Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (2017) and many international is the winner of tournaments.
