One week left before the World Kurash Championship

Exactly one week later, World Kurash Senior Championship will take place in the city of Pune, India.
It will be attended by 65 countries of the world, about 400 participants, 50 referees and international official technical specialists. This is one of the highest results in the history of statistics and the XIII Kurash World Championship.
Until today, the main part of the organizational work has been carried out. Hotel, transport and visa processes are under constant control of the Organizing Committee and the International Relations Department of the International Kurash Association.
At the moment, preparations are underway to organize the championship at the highest level in the Shivachatrapati sports complex.
According to the competition program, a meeting of the XIX Congress and the Executive Committee of the International Kurash Association will be held on November 24 at the Orchid Hotel in Pune.
On November 25, a referee examination, anti-doping and international official technical meeting (ITO) and a draw ceremony will take place.
Kurash competitions will start on November 26. On the first day, men will compete in the weight categories -60, -66, -73 kg, women 78, -87, +87 kg.
On the second day, men will compete in the weight categories of 81 kg, -90 kg, women -57, -63, -70 kg.
The most important competitions of the championship will be held on November 28. In it, men will compete in the 100, +100 kg category, women -48, -52 kg.
