As a result of fruitful dialogue and negotiations conducted by the International Kurash Association over the past few months, the Australian Kurash Federation has officially launched its activities.
Yesterday, the federation was successfully registered. At the same time, preparations for the launch of its official website are nearing completion.
Acting President of the International Kurash Association Ziyoviddin Khodjiniyazov sent an official congratulatory letter to the head of the Federation, Dr. Siamak Abolhassan.
In the letter, the Australian Kurash Federation was congratulated on joining the International Kurash family. Great success was wished for the Federation’s activities.
It was also noted that the International Kurash Association would provide comprehensive practical and methodological support in the development of the Kurash movement in the country, organising national championships and competitions, and training coaches and referees. It was also noted that the issue of providing the Federation with high-quality Kurash Yaktaks in accordance with international standards would be supported.
The establishment of the Federation in Australia is another practical result of the International Kurash Association’s consistent efforts to expand the geography of Kurash in new countries and strengthen the activities of existing federations.
