The Kurash competition at the 20th Asian Games, hosted by Aichi–Nagoya, enters its decisive stage today. On the final day of competition, more than 30 Kurash athletes will take to the Kurash Gilam in the men’s -66 kg and women’s +87 kg weight categories.
Representatives of 16 countries are competing today, including winners and medallists of the Islamic Solidarity Games, World and Asian Championships among seniors and youth, as well as prestigious international tournaments.
For the continent’s strongest Kurash athletes, this is the final opportunity to etch their names into the history of the Asian Games podium.
The contests will be officiated by experienced IKA 2- and 3-star referees.
