As part of the preparations for the 20th Asian Games, which will kick off in Japan next month, Ravi Kapoor, Technical Director of the International Kurash Association, continues to hold a series of working meetings with the Organizing Committee (AINAGOC).

Yesterday, the delegation held a meeting with Ms Tomoko Inagaki, Head of the Accreditation and Registration Department of AINAGOC. During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the procedures for issuing and distributing accreditation cards for International Technical Officials (ITOs), as well as the practical aspects of the accreditation system.

It was emphasised that the official accreditation card issued for the 20th Asian Games will also serve as a valid document for entry into Japan. At the conclusion of the meeting, a sample accreditation card was presented to the IKA Technical Director.

Today, another working meeting was held at the AINAGOC headquarters, where a number of important organisational and technical matters related to the Kurash competitions were discussed. These included the separate participation of the Kurash delegation in the Opening Ceremony, certain services to be provided to participants during the Asian Games, and organisational arrangements for the International Technical Officials (ITOs). The meeting concluded with a constructive exchange of views on these key preparations.
