The XV Asian Senior Kurash Championship has successfully concluded at a high organizational level in Dushanbe, the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The prestigious continental competition, held from June 11 to 15, brought together over 200 athletes, coaches, officials, and guests from nearly 25 Asian countries. Over the course of two days, the kurash gilams showcased high skill, strong will, and a true sporting spirit, with fans witnessing uncompromising and exciting bouts.
Throughout the championship, the conditions created by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Committee for Youth and Sports, and the Tajikistan Kurash Federation were highly praised by participants and guests. The reception of delegations, transportation, accommodation, security, volunteer activities, and competition organization were all carried out at the level of international standards.
On behalf of the World Kurash Family, we express our sincere gratitude to the organizing committee headed by Mr. Abdumalik Orifov, President of the Tajikistan Kurash Federation, as well as all partner organizations, specialists, volunteers, and media representatives.
