🇹🇯The first bouts of the 15th Asian Senior Kurash Championship have kicked off in Dushanbe, the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan.
📍The “Dushanbe Tennis Palace and Water Sport Complex,” which is hosting the competition, was engulfed in a true sports festival atmosphere today. Hundreds of fans are visiting the modern sports complex, which has been festively decorated for the occasion. Heated battles featuring Asia’s strongest athletes are taking place in the arena, which can accommodate 3,500 spectators.
🏆Today, as part of the first day’s program, the winners and medalists will be determined in the men’s -60 kg, -66 kg, -73 kg, and -81 kg weight categories, and the women’s -70 kg, -78 kg, -87 kg, and +87 kg weight categories.
Athletes from around 20 countries across the continent are competing for championship titles and ranking points at the 15th Asian Championship.
