
The VI World Nomad Games, hosted by the Kyrgyz Republic, are being organized as one of the largest and most prestigious events of the global ethnosport movement. These Games, combining sports, culture, and science, serve to further develop friendship between peoples, national values, and traditional sports.
In recent years, Kurash has also become one of the most spectacular and competitive sports at the World Nomad Games. As a symbol of national values, honesty, and courage, Kurash will once again demonstrate its place and significance on the international stage at this prestigious competition.
At this year’s Games, Kurash competitions will be organized in the men’s +90 kg (Absolute) weight category ( MEN). According to the regulations, participants in the VI World Nomad Games must register through their national representatives in their respective countries.
The International Kurash Association, in coordination with the Games Organizing Committee, is asking national federations to send athlete information to the email address kurash.nomadgames@gmail.com for the convenience of participants.
The final deadline for submitting all information is July 1, 2026. Kurash competitions at the VI World Nomad Games will start on September 1, 2026, in the city of Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region. The Kurash events will be held at the modern “Gazprom” sports complex.
Additionally, participating delegations are required to submit the following documents:
· Passport and a copy of the photo page;
According to the regulations, all athletes must be over 18 years of age. The refereeing panel will be formed based on the recommendation of international and national federations.
The organizers will cover accommodation, meals, and local transportation expenses for one coach and one athlete from each country’s Kurash team.
The VI World Nomad Games hold special significance not only as a sports competition but also as a vast international platform that unites the cultures, national traditions, and values of peoples.
