SportAccord has announced that the SportAccord Convention 2026, originally scheduled to take place in May 2026 in Baku, Azerbaijan, has been postponed to a later date.
According to the announcement, this decision was made in order to create more favorable and effective conditions for both the host and participants. At the same time, the leadership of SportAccord stated that they remain firmly committed to holding this prestigious event in Baku. The new dates are expected to be announced soon.
SportAccord also noted that throughout this year, it will continue preparations for a series of new initiatives, including the IF Forum.
For reference, the SportAccord Convention is one of the most influential global platforms bringing together international sports federations, the Olympic Movement, and representatives of the sports industry. International Kurash Association has officially participated in this prestigious sports event since 2024.
