On April 17–20, 2026, the city of Urgench in the Khorezm region will host the 5th International Asian Cup among cadets (born in 2009–2010), dedicated to the memory of Pakhlavon Makhmud and held for the Prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
This prestigious competition is organized under the leadership of the International Kurash Association, in cooperation with the Kurash Confederation of Asia and the Kurash Federation of Uzbekistan.
The tournament aims to further popularize Kurash at the international level, support young talents, and strengthen continental competition.
This Cup, held among cadets, serves as an important test and valuable experience for future champions.
The competition will take place at Yoshlik Sport Complex in Urgench and will be held in a total of 7 weight categories:
Boys: -55 kg, -65 kg, -77 kg, +77 kg
Girls: -48 kg, -57 kg, +57 kg
According to the competition regulations, each country may enter one athlete per weight category. The host country is allowed to enter two athletes in each weight category.
Winners and prize winners will be awarded diplomas, medals, and cash prizes.
