The Chairman of the Federation, Abdumalik Orifov, expressed sincere gratitude to the Referee Board and all officials who made a worthy contribution to the organisation of the championship at a high level. He recognised that the fair and professional atmosphere of the competition is the result of their selfless work and responsibility.

This championship, in addition to identifying the country’s strongest Kurash players, was of particular importance as a qualifying stage for the 2026 Asian Games to be held in Japan. Over two days, more than 200 athletes demonstrated their skills and determination, competing honestly and uncompromisingly.

Temur Rakhimov, a well-known athlete and winner of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games for his contribution to popularising sports and supporting young Kurash players, and his mentor Sukhrob Abdurakhmanov visited the championship as guests of honor.

This national championship, held in Tajikistan, will go down in history as an important sports event that served to further strengthen the reputation and popularity of Kurash in the country, not just qualifying matches.
