The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) European Regional Symposium will be held on March 18-19, 2026 at the Baku Convention Center in Baku, Azerbaijan. The official opening ceremony of the event is scheduled for March 17.

This symposium is the first of four regional events planned by WADA in 2026 and is organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Anti-Doping Agency of Azerbaijan.

The event aims to inform stakeholders, strengthen their compliance readiness and strengthen cooperation in the run-up to the implementation of the World Anti-Doping Code and International Standards, which will come into force in 2027. The symposium will be held as part of WADA’s 2027 Code Implementation Support Program (CISP).

The symposium is open to National Anti-Doping Organizations, International Federations, major sporting event organisers, WADA-accredited laboratories and service providers, as well as athletes and government representatives.

Registration for the European Regional Symposium is open until 28 February 2026 (23:59 AZT). All necessary information, including the preliminary program and list of speakers, is available on the official event website.

Note: Similar symposia are also planned for 2026 in Africa (Cairo, 28–29 April), Asia and Oceania (Beijing, 2–3 June) and the Americas (Lima, 1–2 July).
