The championship held in Patna, Bihar, Republic of India was held at a high level.

National teams from 22 states of the country took part in the three-day championship. During the competition, 674 athletes participated in competitions and demonstrated their level of training and technical capabilities in Kurash.

The competitions were held on the basis of international Kurash rules, and 35 qualified referees participated there. Also, in order to expand the composition of referees and improve their qualifications, the referee exam with 22 participants also took part in evaluation and testing processes.

During the championship, 69 coaches took an active part in ensuring thorough preparation of athletes for the competition.

Ravi Kapoor, Technical Director of IKA and President of the Indian Kurash Federation, said:
This championship, held in Patna, will serve as an important stage in the systematic development of Kurash in India, the widespread popularisation of this sport among young people, as well as the identification of promising athletes and the formation of the national team reserve.
