The International Kurash Association (IKA) officially informs all national federations that there are only 10 days left until the registration deadline for the XV World Senior Kurash Championships.
It is reminded that this prestigious competition will be held in Bojnord city, North Khorasan province, Islamic Republic of Iran, from January 31 to February 5, 2026. The World Championships is one of the most important events on the IKA official calendar, where the world’s strongest and most deserving Kurash athletes will participate, and the competition is also considered an important event awarding WSP ranking points.
Currently, the process of registering participants for the championship is ongoing through IKA’s official online Registration System according to the established regulations. In this regard, all national federations are requested to fully and timely register participating athletes, coaches and official delegates by the specified deadline.
Within the framework of the championship, the next Congress and Directing Committee meetings of the International Kurash Association will be held.
At these meetings,it is planned to discuss many important issues regarding the rules and refereeing system on development of Kurash.
IKA calls on all member federations to approach this responsibly, not to leave registration until the last days, and to speed up the process.
