Important personnel changes have been made in the World Kurash family.
Mohammad Reza Nassiri, who has been working effectively as the President of the Iranian Kurash Federation for many years and the Secretary General of the International Kurash Association, resigned from his post due to an increase in workload. Dr. Dariush Khosrayar, who has extensive experience in international sports and law, was appointed as the interim President of the Federation. Mostafa Daliarian, a winner of many prestigious Kurash tournaments and recognised as the “Best Kurash player of the Year”, took over as the General Secretary of the Federation.
Similar changes have also occurred in the Turkmen Kurash Federation. Serdar Atayev, who served as the President of the Federation, left his post. Ovezmuhammet Atalyyev, who has been serving as the General Secretary until now, was appointed as the President of the Federation. He is also the Director of the Olympic Sports College No. 2 in Ashgabat. Dovletgeldi Tejenov was confirmed as the General Secretary of the Federation.
