
Today, on August 3, the second day of the Asian Championships in Kurash for seniors, cadets, and juniors has started at the Culture and Sports Center in Geosan, South Korea.
The day’s program featured competitions among seniors. On the Gilam, skilled athletes from various Asian countries are testing their strength, willpower, and mastery.
Among men, competitions are being held in the weight categories of –60 kg, –66 kg, –73 kg, and –81 kg, while among women, the categories are –70 kg, –78 kg, –87 kg, and +87 kg.
Today’s matches include over 100 highly skilled Kurash athletes from 16 countries. There are Asian Games winners, as well as multiple-time World and Asian champions among them.
This stage of the Championship demonstrates not only technical skills, but also high-level preparation, a professional approach, and a deep sense of responsibility in defending national honor.
By the end of today’s competitions, the continental champions in each weight category will be determined.
