There are only a few days left until one of the most important events in the calendar of the International Kurash Association – the international tournament for the Prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
On July 21-23, a traditional international Kurash tournament will be held in Paris, the cradle of world culture and art, near the Eiffel Tower.
About 100 skilled Kurash players from more than 20 countries of the world are expected to participate in this year’s tournament. Among them are such Kurash stars as famous Uzbek player Mukhsin Khisomiddinov, Sherali Juraev and leading Romanian athlete Natea DANIEL.
This competition, which is gaining popularity every year, is being held for the fourth time, and the total prize fund is 30 thousand euros.
The competitions will be held at the Émile Anthoine sports complex. The competition will showcase not only Kurash, but also Uzbek culture, crafts and national cuisine, including pilaf.
