Behrouz Adelizadeh–I.R.Iran
I am Behrouz Adelizadeh from Khuzestan province, Iran. My sports career began with 12 years of active participation in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, and since 2018, in judo. But for 5 years now, I have been in the Kurash arena – this sport has taken a deep place in my heart.
When I first saw the green and blue Kurash yakhtaks, it was its unique charm that attracted me. The high respect for the opponent and the referee, the principles of nobility and justice between the athletes completely captivated me. It was these feelings that made me deeply interested in Kurash and I firmly decided to work in the field of coaching and refereeing. I was convinced that this is not only a sport, but also a real culture.
In my country, Kurash is one of the most popular sports. The Iranian Kurash Association organises dozens of championships, tournaments, and training seminars every year.
Our athletes are also constantly raising the Iranian flag high and winning international competitions.
I am pleased to have participated in the international seminar held in Tashkent.
Many of us coaches and trainers, as well as other specialists of the course – have given me great knowledge and experience. Their every word and every recommendation is worth gold to me. I sincerely try to teach all the usuls of Kurash (techniques) that I have learned to my students in my club.
I would like to express my deep gratitude to the selfless people who make an incomparable contribution to the development of the sport of Kurash including the President of the International Kurash Association Mr. Haider Farman, General Secretary of the International Kurash Association, Professor Reza Nasiri Nejad, Rector of the International Kurash Institute Khabibulla Tadjiev, Ravi Kapoor from India, Dr. Vakhid Pourisfandiyar and my dear teacher Ajmal.
I believe in the bright future of Kurash and I am honored to contribute to the further development of this great sport.
