
The three-month intensive English language and Kurash specialization course at the International Kurash Institute, which started in February this year, has been completed.
This training program, organized jointly with the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sport and the International Kurash Association, is aimed at training leading Kurash experts of International level.
At the final stage of the course, participants’ skills were assessed through test examinations. Rector of the International Kurash Institute Khabibulla Tadjiev, General Secretary of the International Kurash Association Reza Nassiri, Head of the IKA Administration Mansur Mirzaev, Vice-Rector Komil Mukhammadiev, leading specialists and experts of the Institute took part in the examination process.
As it is known, this training course was held within the framework of ensuring the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from December 20, 2024 № 450. The decree defines the tasks of raising the International prestige of sports Kurash, popularizing it in the world arenas, training qualified coaching and refereeing staff, as well as bringing them to the International arena.
About 20 talented young – students and specialists in Kurash, selected on a competitive basis, took part in the classes. They mastered theoretical and practical knowledge in English, Kurash coaching and refereeing.
The classes were organized with the participation of highly qualified teachers and International class experts. During the practical classes the participants studied the organization of International Kurash competitions, refereeing rules, technical exercises and modern training methods. In these processes were involved well-known specialists – Reza Nassiri, Kim Eur Joong, Rizamat Soliev, Olim Ravshanov, Nuriddin Chorshamiev, Shukhrat Kurbanov, Feruz Bobomurodov and Ajmal Ishaq Zai.
At the end of the course, participants who successfully passed the exams were awarded official certificates.
