The application deadline for the three main Kurash events in the International Kurash Association calendar is approaching. Registration for each event is required before the deadline.
1. International Training Camp – Issyk-Kul 2025
Date: June 10–24
Location: Kyrgyzstan, Issyk-Kul city.
Registration deadline: May 25, 2025
This training camp is a traditional international training camp in the calendars of the IKA and the Kurash Confederation of Asia (KCA) and will be organised with the participation of the strongest national teams in the world. This is an integral part of the preparation for the Asian Championship and the Islamic Solidarity Games.
All national federations can participate via registration. Once registration is complete, the visa application process will begin for all countries.
2. International Tournament for the Prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
Date: July 21–23
Location: Paris, France
Registration deadline: June 1, 2025
This traditional and prestigious competition is held in the weight categories of -90 kg and +90 kg for men, and -70 kg and +70 kg for women. All national federations are allowed to participate.
3. Asian Championships – seniors, cadets and juniors
Date: July 30–August 5
Location: Cheongju, Republic of Korea
Registration deadline: June 1, 2025
Registration: via the IKA registration system
This is the first championship held in Korea, and for the first time, three age groups will participate simultaneously. The competition will include the Congress and Directing Committee meetings of the Kurash Confederation of Asia, a seminar for coaches and referees, and certification exams.
All national federations are invited to take an active and timely part in these significant events of the International Kurash Association calendar. This allows avoiding unnecessary worries and formalities not only for the organisers, but also for the federations themselves.
