The preparations for the 20th Asian Games, to be held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, in 2026, have entered an active phase. These days, meetings and preparatory events are being held with the participation of the Asian Olympic Council, the Japanese government, and technical directors of international sports federations.

Today, Mr. Ravi Kapoor, Technical Director of the International Kurash Association, held important meetings with the Organizing Committee of the Asian Games and its five departments.

Before the meetings, Mr. Ravi Kapoor visited the competition venue to personally ensure that all tasks were clearly understood within the Games’ management mechanism (VM). During the discussions, the following key issues were addressed:

Competition Management: Ensuring that all management processes are efficient and transparent.

Timekeeping and Results:
Accurately determining competition timelines and establishing a fair results evaluation system.

Live Broadcasts: Kurash competitions will be broadcast live in English through official television channels.

Upgrading the Results Management System: Creating a modern and efficient system for recording, announcing, and managing competition results.

Protocols: Ensuring the opening and closing ceremonies of the competition are organized and executed to the highest standards.

All procedures were thoroughly discussed and mutually agreed upon during the meeting.
