Yesterday, a trilateral meeting was held at the International Kurash Association (IKA) with representatives from the Kurash Federation of Uzbekistan (KFU) and the Uzbekistan Volunteers Association (UVA). The meeting was attended by the IKA General Secretary Mohammad Reza Nassiri, First Deputy Chairman of KFU Baxtiyor Kadirov, and UVA Director Shirin Abidova.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the involvement of volunteers in upcoming International Kurash competitions in Uzbekistan. They focused on the role of volunteers in sports events, enhancing their qualifications, and ensuring they provide professional services at International tournaments.
Key points of discussion included: developing special training programs for volunteers, creating opportunities for knowledge exchange and hands-on experience in International sports events, implementing effective mechanisms to engage volunteers in Kurash competitions.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to sign a trilateral memorandum of understanding in future meetings. This document will formalize the collaboration and establish a systematic approach to involving volunteers in International Kurash competitions.

The Uzbekistan Volunteers Association was founded in 2020 and currently includes over 32,000 volunteers. To date, the association has partnered with 23 organizations and participated in about 40 projects.
