The Kurash Coaches Seminar for Levels A and B, organized by the International Kurash Association and the International Kurash Institute, began today in Saharanpur. More than 50 coaches from India, South Korea, Iran, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Thailand, Chinese Taipei and Afghanistan are participating in the event.
The seminar is being held to improve the skills of Kurash coaches, learn new techniques and teach athletes in accordance with international standards. This year, there has been an increase of more than 40% in the number of IKA Level B participants, which indicates a growing interest in the sport of Kurash.
On the first day of the seminar, under the leadership of the IKA General Secretary Muhammad Reza Nassiri, training was organized for coaches on modern Kurash techniques, competition management and international refereeing rules. The seminar will also include practical training sessions, where experienced coaches and referees will have the opportunity to share their knowledge.
The IKA General Secretary noted that this seminar will make a significant contribution to the development of Kurash on the international stage, and expressed the expectation that the number of participants will increase further in the coming years.
Such events will not only help popularize the sport of Kurash, but also provide qualified training for a new generation of coaches.
