IV Central Asian tournament in memory of Pahlavan Mahmoud for the prize of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be held on April 17-19, 2025.
The strongest young Kurash athletes of Central Asia will test their mastery at this prestigious competition, which will be held in the city of Urgench, Khorezm region.
According to the IKA calendar, the tournament, organized in cooperation with the Kurash Confederation of Asia and the Kurash Federation of Uzbekistan, is open to national federations of Central Asian countries.
Within the framework of this tournament, which is held for the fourth time, athletes born in 2008-2009 will take part in the following weight categories:
– Boys: 46kg, 55kg, 65kg, 77kg, 90kg, +90kg
– Girls: 52kg, 57kg, 63kg, +63kg.
A delegation of 12 people from each country can participate in the tournament. They include the President of the National Federation, 1 coach and 10 athletes. The Organizing Committee provides the following conditions for these delegations:
✅ Accommodation and meals – The Organizing Committee will provide free accommodation and three meals a day for the participants during the tournament.
✅ Transportation service – Local transportation will be organized for the participants.
This Kurash tournament, dedicated to the memory of the great Kurash athlete Pahlavan Mahmoud, which is hosted by the city of Urgench for the third time, is of great importance not only for athletes, but also for all those interested in Kurash. The tournament will serve to raise the prestige of Kurash on the international sports arena and develop new talented athletes.
It will also strengthen sports cooperation between Central Asian countries and create opportunities for exchange of experience between athletes and coaches.
