A number of major and prestigious International competitions, seminars and other events are planned for Kurash enthusiasts this year.
The 2025 calendar includes a total of around 40 International events, among which the following are of particular importance:
– Four Continental Championships: continental competitions held in the Asian, European, African and Pan-American regions;
– International tournaments for the prize of the President of Republic of Uzbekistan: These tournaments, which occupy a special place in the history of Kurash, gather the strongest athletes in one arena;
– International seminars: a series of training programs aimed at popularizing the rules of Kurash, improving refereeing and coaching skills.
The calendar also reflects the examinations which will be held within the framework of the “Road to Asian Games” program, with detailed information about the exact dates of the events and the organizing countries. This program is an important step in the preparation for the 2026 Asian Games.
IKA President Mr. Haider Farman announces the following regarding the IKA calendar:
“The year 2025 will be of historic significance for Kurash. These events, bringing together athletes and referees from all over the world, will take not only the athletes but the entire Kurash community to new heights. We encourage everyone to participate in these events and actively promote the spiritual values of Kurash.”
