Today, the largest Kurash competition of 2024 will come to an end at the “Mongolian Wrestling Palace” in Ulaanbaatar.
Today’s program includes competitions between juniors and veterans.
The age group for youth competitions is 16-17 years old. It includes a total of 20 weight categories, of which 11 boys and 9 girls are testing their skills in weight categories.
In the second half of the day, veteran Kurash athletes will take to gilam. They will compete in 9 weight categories in 9 age groups.
In total, more than 150 Kurash athletes are competing for the World Championship today.
The World Championship matches are being broadcast live on Mongolia’s 9 TV and Sport channels.
