The culmination of the World Juniors, Cadets and Veterans Kurash Championships is coming up.
A festive atmosphere reigns in the magnificent “Mongolian Martial Arts Palace” in Ulaanbaatar.
Today, on the first day of the World Championship, the Junior competitions are taking place.
Today, athletes will test their skills in 19 weight categories, including 12 for boys and 7 for girls.
More than 140 Kurash athletes from 21 countries will take part in the Junior competitions.
The competitions are conducted by 20 experienced referees of the International Kurash Association. They are supported by 28 referees participating in the IKA referee examinations.
