These days, Mongolia breathes with Kurash. The hosting of two major championships of the International Kurash Association is entrusted to the capital of Mongolia.
Applications for the championship were received from more than 300 participants from more than 30 countries of the world. Starting from yesterday, the participating countries’s athletes, referees, officials of the International Kurash Association are arriving in Mongolia.
This morning, the President of the International Kurash Association, Mr. Haider Farman, has arrived in Ulaanbaatar.
In the official reception hall of Chinggis Khan Ulaanbaatar International Airport, IKA President has been welcome by the President of the Mongolian Kurash Federation Ganbaatar Begz, the Head of IKA Administration Mansur Mirzaev, the representative of the IKA Technical Commission Juan Da Wei, officials of the Mongolian Physical Education and Sports Committee and media representatives.
During the day, meetings of the President of IKA with sports officials of Mongolia, heads of the National Olympic Committee and Presidents of national federations are planned.
