The President of the International Kurash Association, Haider Farman, confirmed that the final stage of the World Series Pro tournament among seniors in Kurash will be held in Tashkent on December 16-18 of this year.
The list of the participants of this tournament will be formed based on the ranking points earned in sekected international tournaments and continental championships according to the IKA calendar throughout the year.
The finals will be held in 10 weight categories.
Men: – 66 kg –73 kg 81 kg – 90 kg – 100 kg and +100 kg Women: – 52 kg – 63 kg – 78 kg + 87 kg will compete for the victory.
According to the competition regulations, December 16 is considered the official first day, and Kurash games will be held on December 17.
The total prize fund of the tournament is 170 thousand US dollars. In each weight category, the first place winner will receive $10,000, the second place winner will receive $5,000, and the third place winner will receive $1,000.
For your information, the World Series Pro tournament was scheduled to be held in Termez in October of this year, along with the Al Hakim At Tirmizi tournament. However, due to insufficient preparations in Termez, the competition was postponed.
