The course was completed by the International Kurash Institute in cooperation with the International Kurash Association, the African Kurash Union and the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sport.
More than 40 specialists from the continent took part in the training course aimed at improving the qualifications of referees and coaches of the African Kurash Union, attracting a large number of young and talented specialists into this field, as well as popularizing and developing Uzbek Kurash on the African continent before major Kurash competitions.
As part of the online course conducted on the ZOOM platform, which started in early October, the training took place at the Kurash hall of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports.
During a month experienced specialists taught the rules of coaching and refereeing in Kurash and 7 groups of Kurash Usuls theoretically and practically.
IKA General Secretary Mohammad Reza Nassiri, Rector of the International Kurash Institute Khabibulla Tadjiev, Rector of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sport Rashid Matkarimov, Head of the IKA Administration Mansur Mirzaev, professors and teachers of the International Kurash Institute, experienced Kurash coaches and referees of International category took part in the training.
At the end of the course a test was held, following the results of which the most active participants were awarded with International certificates of the Institute.
It should be noted that during three quarters of this year, the International Kurash Institute held more than 10 major International online and offline seminars and trainings.
