The National Championship, which was attended by around 1000 young Kurash athletes, was recognized as one of the most spectacular events in the history of the Indian Kurash Association. Fierce competitions with the participation of young athletes from 24 states created a real festive atmosphere for the fans.
The three-day National Championship was led by a team of 55 national and International class referees led by IKA Technical Director Ravi Kapoor.
The official opening ceremony of the championship was attended online by IKA President Haider Farman and IKA General Secretary Mohammad Reza Nassiri.
Mr. Farman expressed his sincere gratitude to all the organizers and participants in his speech. He mentioned that the championship would remain one of the most exciting events in the history of Indian Kurash.
At the end of the fierce competition, the winners were announced. They were included in the national team of the country in their weight category.
Kuldip Singh Pataniya, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh, and Rakesh Pataniya, former Minister of Sports and Forestry of the state, also attended the award ceremony.
