Today, another meeting was held at the Office of the Afghanistan Vice President in the heart of Kabul,
Led by the President of the International Kurash Association Haider Farman, the meeting was attended by the Minister of Sports of Afghanistan Mr. Maulvi Ahmadullah Wasiq, the President of the Kurash Federation of Afghanistan Mr. Zia Dashti, senior representatives of sports of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, General Secretary of the International Kurash Association Mohammad Reza Nassiri, the Head of the Administration of the International Kurash Association Mansur Mirzaev and the Advisor of the International Kurash Association on strategic development of National Federations Elyor Mirzaev.
During the meeting, the Vice President noted that Afghanistan is trying to keep up with the times and noted that politics and sports are not connected. The Afghanistan is doing a lot of work in the direction of gender equality. 1000 women are getting an education and leadership positions. The government agencies are also trying to attract all women who want to get an education, as well as help in developing sports achievements. It should be noted, as above, that major changes have affected the country’s security. With his visit, Mr. Farman personally saw that much has changed in the country, and they are very happy about this and are ready to assist in every possible way in the future to organize large International competitions. General Secretary of the IKA, Mohammad Reza Nassiri, thanked and noted the importance of the meeting, the importance of the fact that the Afghan side is doing a lot of work in supporting the development of our beloved sport Kurash and the development of International relations. In his speech, the Head of Administration of the IKA Mansur Mirzaev thanked for the warm welcome and also noted that the National Kurash Federation of Afghanistan, represented by Mr. Zia Dashti, doing a great job to popularize and raise the level of Kurash in the country and for this, Mr. Mansur would personally like to express his deep gratitude.
