Today 28 September 2024, IKA President Haider Farman met with the Minister of Sport of Afghanistan Mr.Maulvi Ahmadullah Wasiq , Mr.Zia Dashti President of Afghanistan Kurash Federation and many top officials from the Sport Authorities. During the meeting Mr.Wasiq explained the achievement and performance of Afghanistan Sport during the past 3 years where the new government has taken over the country where he stated when we came we had only 5 Medals in all sports during a year and now we have reached nearly 100 Medal mark, he also added we took only 5 valuable medals at the Asian Games which was a record time ever for us.
Mr.Farman Praised the achievements and promised that Kurash is also on the right track and with strong players coming from Afghanistan. In the latter part of the meeting IKA met with all National Federations to get acquainted with the system in Afghanistan, IKA delegation visiting Afghanistan was Headed by IKA President Mr,Farman, IKA General Secretary Mohammad Reza Nassiri , Head of IKA Administration Mansur Mirzaev, IKA Advisor on issues of strategic development of national federations Elyor Mirzaev.
