Kurash is my destiny!
Kurash is more than just a sport for me; it is a profound journey that has defined my life’s purpose. The values of humanity, respect, and nobility that Kurash embodies inspire me every step of the path.
My introduction to Kurash was serendipitous. It has shaped my life ever since. I first learned about Kurash during a cultural exchange 24 years ago. I am deeply moved by its rich traditions and the spirit of fairness and respect that it promotes. That initial passion grew into a lifelong passion, and over time I became more and more interested in Kurash. Kurash became more than just an activity. Today, Kurash is a major part of my life. Through Kurash, I help young people find a positive and disciplined way of life, keeping them away from negative influences.
Kurash has been a journey for me, full of meaningful achievements and unforgettable experiences. As the Technical Director of the International Kurash Association from 2023 to present and Director of Referees from 2019 to 2023, as well as the Technical Director of the Asian Kurash Confederation from 2015 to 2022 and the President of the Indian Kurash Association, I have had the privilege of playing a pivotal role in the growth of the sport both in India and around the world.
On the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the International Kurash Association, my heartfelt congratulations go out to all those who have dedicated themselves to the growth and success of Kurash. Over the last two and a half decades, we have witnessed Kurash grow from its ancient roots to a sport celebrated the world over. This milestone is a testament to the determination of the entire Kurash community. As we celebrate this auspicious anniversary, let us strive to grow Kurash with the unity and passion that has brought us this far. May Kurash reach even greater heights in the years to come and inspire future generations.
