In 2000, I worked on my doctoral dissertation on national values at the State Construction Academy under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. I came to work at the International Kurash Association by force of fate and my scientific research. I started my first career at the Kurash Development Fund.
For me, Kurash is not just a sport, profession or job. Of course, it attracts many people with its charm and excellence as a sport. However, for me, Kurash is a source of education, consisting of the history of the people, philosophy, values, and the wise teachings of our ancestors. Kurash is a source of spiritual and educational maturity that connects history and the future.
Following the decisions taken by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on the development of this sport in 2020, many of our goals have been achieved. International coaching and refereeing seminars for the training and advanced training of Kurash specialists are constantly organized in different parts of the world. Of course, this work will continue, because as interest in Kurash grows, so does the demand for talented, high-quality Kurash specialists.
On the occasion of World Kurash Day, I would like to sincerely congratulate all Kurash fans, each of our colleagues who, together with us, tirelessly and diligently mobilize their knowledge and potential to enter the Olympic Games program. May God help us all in achieving our highest goal!
