Currently, more than 20 International Kurash experts are taking part in practical training at the International Kurash seminar in Chirchik, Uzbekistan.
The city of Chirchik is located 30 km from the capital, and this city is recognized as one of the unique sport clusters of the country due to its large amount of sport infrastructure.
Chirchik is home to the only State University of Physical Education and Sports in Uzbekistan, the Chirchik Olympic Sports College, training centers and sport complexes specializing in many sports.
The practical training that started yesterday in the Kurash hall of the Uzbek State University of Physical Education and Sports was dedicated to the “Kurash Usul”.
The first half of the day was dedicated to the “Bardor” group of the “Kurash Usul” collection.
International experts Olim Ravshanov, Mohammad Vahid, Shukhrat Kurbanov, Rizamat Soliev and Feruz Bobomurodov shared valuable knowledge and experience on the intricacies of this group of techniques under the leadership of the IKA General Secretary Mohammad Reza Nassiri. The emphasis was on the importance of training the athlete’s back and arms, paying special attention to technique and safety.
Bardor is a group of techniques based on powerful throws, where strength and flexibility play a major role.
A strong lower back: this is the basis for powerful throws that allow you to control your opponent and throw him off balance.
The experts demonstrated several throw options taking into account the physical fitness of each participant.
In the afternoon, another interesting and important training seminar awaited the participants.
A valuable and interesting report on the topic of “Physical, psychological and technical recovery of athletes before and after competitions” was presented by Georgiy Korobeynikov, professor at the University of Cologne, Germany, recruited from abroad to the Uzbek State University of Physical Education and Sports.
At the end of the presentation, Professor Korobeynikov answered many questions from the audience with practical cases.
At the end of the day, training in “Kurash Usul” continued.
