In last years, many competitions of National Federations are held in order to increase the number and quality of Kurash competitions between children and adolescents.
Fortunately, the geography of such Kurash competitions is expanding, and the number of participating children is increasing.
During this week, competitions between children were organized at a high level on the continents of Asia, Europe and Pan America.
On August 6-7-8, the Turkish city of Yalova hosted the National Championship between Children.
According to Muammar Madin, the president of the Kurash Federation of Turkey, about 200 Kurash athletes from teams of boys and girls aged 7 to 9 years took part in the championship.
Competitions involving young Kurash athletes visiting from 14 regions of the country gave celebratory mood of the Kurash to the parents and audience of the young Kurash athletes.
During 3-days competitions will not only increase the interest of the population in Kurash among young people, but also provide a worthy service in further popularizing the Kurash.
“Since there is a little injury in Kurash and the methods of pain and steaming are prohibited, children and senior generations can easily participate in Kurash.” says Mr. Maden.
Another youth Kurash competition was organized by the Nicaraguan Kurash Federation.
In the capital city of Managua, 10 Kurash teams from the country’s Chinandega, Boako, Granada, Caraso, Masaya and Managua participated.
The competitions of more than 70 young Kurash atheles were revealed by Frank Silva Urbina, the president of the Nicaraguan Kurash Federation and he wished good luck to participants.
At the end of the competitions, the winning teams was determined.
According to the results, the first place was won by Leones Azules Academy of Managua mayor, the second place by Takai Biru Academy in Masaya and the final place by Sabaot Academy in Karazo.
