Our Federation is one of the youngest teams in the World Kurash Family.
We must admit that the activities of experienced and powerful Federations serve as an experience for us.
For several years we have been working to further develop and popularise Kurash in the country.
Kurash is a new sport for our country, and it is natural that this creates specific difficulties. However, our younger people love Kurash, and it is becoming a way of life.
In Cairo, Kurash clubs were established in many sports clubs. We are delighted that the number of these is increasing daily.
The Continental Championship and the WSP (World Series Pro) International Tournament were hosted by Egypt. It would not be an exaggeration to say that it served to popularise Kurash at the country level.
During the championship, we discovered many talented Kurash athletes and succeeded in forming a strong team.
Our team worthy participated in the finals of the WSP (World Series Pro) and the World Championship.
Despite several problems this year, our federation is moving towards new goals.
Our team won 7 medals in the Continental Championships hosted by Eswatini yesterday and was awarded first place in the final.
Our goals are even more significant. I believe that, in the future, Kurash in Egypt will become the number one sport, and Egyptian Kurash athletes will become the strongest team in the world.
