Activities of regional Kurash Federations are being launched in order to further develop the sport of Kurash in the continental regions and to organize a wide range of Kurash athletes by increasing the number of competitions.
The first championships were planned to be held this year by the South Asian and South-East Asian Kurash Federations, which were established as part of the Asian Kurash Confederation.
In April, the South Asian Championship was successfully organized in the Indian state of Kerala.
It’s KUSEA’s turn. On July 18-22, the first championship of the South-East Asian Kurash Association (KUSEA) will be held in Kajang, Selangor, Malaysia.
The championship is planned for seniors, cadets, juniors, children and kids.
A seminar for referees and the KUSEA Congress will also take place within the framework of the championship.
At the same time, the registration of the participants of the championship continues.
For information: 11 countries are members of South-East Asian region. Of these, 8 countries have official Kurash Federations.
