Many important and prestigious Kurash competitions have taken place in the calendar of the International Kurash Association this year.
The 5th World Nomad Games will be held in Astana in September, and the final round of the World Series Pro International tournament will be held in Tashkent in October.
In November, the Kingdom of Thailand will host the 6th Asian Indoor Games and Martial Arts Games.
National federations have already started preparing for the Kurash competitions that will be held within the framework of these games.
Starting from 2023, the International Kurash Association has been organizing International training camps in the Issyk-Kol Valley of Kyrgyzstan in order to increase the high level of preparation of athletes for competitions and to ensure the exchange of unique experience.
The training camp of Issyk-Kol, which is traditionally held, is scheduled for August 4-18 of this year.
The Kyrgyz Kurash Federation is working on the basis of the relevant Program for the organization of training camp at a high level.
This year, all deficiencies in the Kurash training hall, gymnasium, and treadmills have been eliminated.
It is planned to organize cultural events and small trips for the participants to have fun at the end of the training.
At the same time, the registration of participants and the processing of visa documents have been started.
