On May 25-26, the most talented Kurash athletes of the country gathered in the city of Pointe-Noire, recognized as the northern capital of the Republic of Congo.
In cooperation with the Congolese Kurash Federation and the country’s Ministry of Sports, the national Kurash championship was held among adults and youth.
More than 120 Kurash athletes took part in the championship contests, full of intense competition.
In the end, the athletes who won in their weight categories were selected for the national team.
They will be able to represent the country at the African Kurash Championship to be held in Eswatini on July 25-28.
