The 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games scheduled for 2021 will be held on November 21-30 this year,2024.
The reason for the title being 2021 is because of several postponements.
Not only Asia, but also the countries of the Oceania continent participate in this prestigious sports games held by the Olympic Council of Asia every 4 years.
Competitions for 30 sports, 60 participating countries and 290 medals are scheduled to be held in Bangkok and Chonburi, Thailand.
Kurash is officially included in the program of these prestigious games. The Kurash matches will be held in Pattaya, Chonburi region.
Kurash competitions are organized in 15 weights.
For information: In 2013, the Asian Games for indoor sports and martial arts were combined by the Asian Olympic Council. In 2013, in the games hosted by the city of Incheon, Korea, Kurash competitions were organized in 8 weight categories, while in the framework of the next games held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan in 2017, Kurash competitions were held in 15 weight categories.
At the moment, the National Olympic Committees are continuing to register participants.
